So... it's been a LONG time since an update, and a longer time since I've had any time for writing on here.

The biggest news is that I got married! He's a really awesome guy. Treats me right. For anyone new, my previous 9 year marriage/relationship was a toxic one and sucked my soul from me. Luckily, my new husband found it and gave it back. I had sworn at one point I'd never get married again and was anti-marriage for quite some time. Just about the time I declared my endless independence from marriage... in walks Raj to my life and I'll never be the same again... thank god. On a side note, he's from Nepal. I remember saying frequently in the past few years that I'd need to go to the ends of the earth to find someone for me. I don't really fit in anywhere and it takes a certain type of guy to put up with my kind of unique. I guess for once I was right.

This is the really crazy part. I met Raj last spring and we went out a few times just as friends to get out and be around each other. He then quit talking to me for something like four months. I assumed he didn't like me. I guess he had moved to Denver and worked 60-70 hours a week so he had no time for anything but sleep and work. I wasn't too attached to him. We'd only met I think three times or so and people dropping me suddenly happens a lot. I'm busy, but I'm much different than the people here also, so, it happens. Frequently. Anyway, one night I happened to be online and so was he. We chat for 5 minutes or so and he asks "Will you marry me?" I seriously laughed for something like 5 minutes then realized he wasn't joking. He was actually mad I was laughing. I explained to him we don't do that here. We date first. So he ask me to date him. I accepted. That was October 1. He moved back here October 15 and around the end of November he ask me to marry him. I couldn't say no. He's truly the single best thing that's happened to me (aside from my kids of course). We got married March 25 and honestly I've never been happier.

I think that's actually the best update I can give. Aside from that there really is nothing new. Work, kids, sleep. That's how parenting goes. I’m hoping soon I can post some of the photos I've taken. I also hope to do some more art here soon. I need to find more time for that. It's my stress reliever and I haven't done any in something like a year. It sucks...
